Macon County Register of Deeds has Birth & Death Records from 1913 to present date & Marriage records from 1878 to present date. Macon County does have some births from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s; these births are delayed and were obtained by the child/family through the state after 1913. This office only has records for persons born, married, or deceased in Macon, North Carolina.
Requests by mail should be made in writing or on a typed document; they must contain names & dates in order for us to locate this information. The cost for one (1) certified copy is $10.00 & each photocopy is .25¢
